A. RASIONAL
In accordance with the preparation of SMK-RSBI to hold networking with oversees institution and related to loan given by Department of National Education through Directorate of PSMK for developing as the Candidate of International Standard School in 2009,The benchmarking and Networking Visit Programme Destination Country, South Korea followed by 50 headmasters of SMK for all over Indonesia. (The Itinerary is attached). B. THE AIM OF VISITING The aim of visiting is to :
C. NETWORKING VISIT PROGRAMME Networking was conducted to visit Hyunday Car Centre Assembling Industry ; located in Ulsan City, Produces 5600 cars a day and 120 kinds of cars. In the company there are 5 factories, per one hour produces 50 cars. The most expensive cars spent one hour. D. BENCHMARKING VISIT PROGRAMME Benchmarking was conducted to visit Seoul Technology High School located at Daebangdong, Dongisk, in Seoul South Korea. This school has 4 departments. They are Robotics Department, Structures, Automatic System and Design Interior Departments. It has 62 teachers, 7 staffs and 600 students. Each class has 25 students. All the students have good discipline, high spirit, motivation and good reputation. 30 % of graduates continue their study to 2 years college program and 40 % to famous university I Seoul. Seoul Technical High School graduated 15000 students so far and all of them have good position in the government and industries. The relationship can be conducted between SMK Indonesia and SMK Seoul is Home Stay Program for students and teachers. E. OTHER PROGRAMS OF INDONESIA HEADMASTERS TO INDONESIA AMBASSADOR The other visiting of Indonesia Headmasters of Vocational High School to South Korea is to visit Indonesia Embassy for South Korea in Seoul, we were received warmly by The Indonesia Ambassador with his wife in his office. In this opportunity, the ambassador delivered speech in front of us and after that from one of us delivered the aim of our visiting to South Korea. F. THE RESULT OF BENCHMARKING AND NETWORKING PROGRAMME The results of Benchmarking and Networking Program are as follows :

SMKN 1 Katapang was built in 1999. Formely its name was SMKN 4 Soreang. New Building Unit (NBU) of the SMKN 1 Katapang was financed by LOAN OCF project from Japan Goverment. In 1999-2000, SMKN 1 Katapang began receiving the first new students for the Skill Programs ; Technology of Textile Bleaching, Technic of Industrial Electronics and Machining. The participants was 150 students and received 144 students, The teaching learning process was conducted at SMPN 1 Katapang. In 2000-2001 SMKN 4 Soreang moved to New Building Unit located at Jalan Ceuri Terusan Kopo KM 13,5 Desa Katapang, Kecamatan Katapang Kabupaten Bandung. When inaugurating the new building which was attended by authorities of Bandung Regency, Stake holders, School Comittees, Students’ Parents and all Civities of the SMKN 4 Soreang. They made up their mind to change SMKN 4 Soreang became The SMKN 1 Katapang, the reason why? Because the school, now, is located at Katapang distric. At the end of the 2000, The name of the SMKN 1 Katapang was legalized formally by the decision later from Directorate of High and vocational school Department of National Education of Republic of Indonesia. In the 2001-2002, SMKN 1 Katapang opened Technique of Mechanic Automotive. In the 2001-2002 The students of the SMKN 1 Katapang conducted Dual System Education/on the job training in Pindad Co, Dehatex textile Industries, Nusantara Aircraft Industries, Hanjaya Chemical Industries, Indonesian Telecommunication and at others relevant industries. In the 2007-2008, SMKN 1 Katapang opened Technique of Computer Networking. Comments (2) | ||
